JMC Launches Three Diesel Models in Kenya

On March 27, 2025, JMC and its distributor in Kenya, Salvador Caetano Kenya Limited, held a brand event, officially launching three diesel models—Vigus Pro, Vigus Plus and Carrying Plus in Nairobi, the capital city of Kenya.
Model Highlights:
Vigus Pro
Equipped with a Puma 2.0T diesel engine and ZF 8AT automatic transmission, Vigus Pro features a BorgWarner intelligent 4WD system and an SMC shield cargo box. JMC Vigus Pro offers robust off-road performance and strong payload capabilities.
Vigus Plus
Powered by the Puma 2.0T diesel engine and paired with a Magna 6MT manual transmission, Vigus Plus combines a BorgWarner 4WD system with an Eaton differential lock. It delivers excellent hill-climbing ability and comprehensive active safety features, making it ideal for a variety of challenging driving environments.
Carrying Plus
Equipped with the legendary JX493 diesel engine, Carrying Plus features a lightweight chassis and all-steel tubeless tires. Its reduced weight improves both load capacity and fuel efficiency, making it a reliable choice for logistics operations across urban and rural areas.
