In December, JMC light trucks recorded two key developments in the Paraguay market. Under technical guidance from the JMC team, local partner Chacomer successfully completed the first KD assembly of the All New Carrying Plus at its KD plant on December 11. Meanwhile, retail fleet sales continued to advance, with a local customer adding new JMC light trucks and putting them into high-frequency distribution operations.
The first locally assembled All New Carrying Plus is more than just the launch of a new model. It represents JMC's continued localization and product evolution in Paraguay. Since the Carrying entered the market in 2017, JMC has successively introduced three generations of products in Paraguay: Carrying, Carrying Plus and the All New Carrying Plus, with cumulative local assembly volume exceeding 4,000 units in total. In addition, from January to November this year, JMC light trucks achieved a 22.8% retail market share in Paraguay, ranking No.1 among Chinese brands and growing by 18.6% year-on-year.
On the fleet side, Paraguayan bottled-water company Rugar S.A. recently purchased 10 new JMC light trucks and has already deployed them in daily delivery operations to support intensive, high-frequency transport from its own plant. With experience operating other truck brands, the company opted for JMC primarily for the vehicles' robust reliability, competitive spare part costs and consistent after-sales support, all of which help ensure fleet uptime and delivery efficiency during high-intensity operations.
From product upgrades to fleet orders, these two pieces of good news together reflect JMC’s growth momentum in Paraguay: continuous product iteration, steadily improving partner capability, and a retail market share that remains among the leaders. Looking ahead, JMCG will continue working closely with Chacomer to further develop the Paraguay market, delivering more reliable and efficient light trucks and a stronger service system with better-controlled total lifecycle cost, providing stable and worry-free transport solutions for local business users and logistics operations.
