United for a Longer Journey! Colombian Delegation Visits JMCG

From March 9 to 10, a 30-member Colombian delegation, consisting of local dealers, distributors and key clients, paid a visit to JMCG for in-depth exchanges and field inspections. The delegation inspected JMC’s manufacturing system and new energy product layout, while both sides held in-depth discussions on localized brand operation, channel upgrading and industrial chain coordination.

On the morning of March 9, an exchange meeting was held at JMCG Headquarters. Li Xiaojun, Deputy General Manager of JMCG and Chairman of JMC Import & Export Corporation, delivered a welcome speech. He extended sincere greetings to the guests and fully recognized JMC’s long-term development achievements in Colombia as well as the dedicated efforts of local partners.

In 2025, JMC secured the second position in light truck sales among Chinese brands in Colombia, with a year-on-year growth of 49%, demonstrating robust market competitiveness and brand momentum. As a key strategic market for JMC in Latin America, Colombia has maintained stable cooperative relations with JMC for years. Li noted that this visit serves as a vital opportunity to deepen mutual trust and joint development. Moving forward, JMC will focus on technological innovation and product upgrading, leveraging its global manufacturing layout and localized service networks to deliver market-tailored products and solutions, and pursue win-win development with local partners.

During the meeting, Fu Guan, South America Regional Manager of JMC Import & Export Corporation, introduced JMC’s development journey, industrial layout, R&D capabilities and global strategy. He highlighted the core advantages and overseas market achievements of JMC’s commercial vehicles, passenger vehicles and new energy vehicles, presenting the group’s full-industry chain strength covering R&D, production, sales and after-sales services.
Noel, JMC Brand Manager in Colombia, expressed gratitude for JMC’s long-term support and spoke highly of the market reputation and product competitiveness in Colombia. He elaborated on the 2026 local operation plan, focusing on five key dimensions: channel upgrading, network expansion, service optimization, marketing empowerment and customer cultivation. The plan aims to improve the local distribution system, enhance terminal service capacity and better reach local consumers.
An award ceremony was also held to honor outstanding distributors for their outstanding contributions to market development and operation in Colombia. JMC leaders presented trophies to award recipients, encouraging them to set benchmark standards and further deepen local market cooperation with JMC.
From the afternoon of March 9 to March 10, the delegation toured JMC Fushan Plant, JMC Xiaolan Plant, export parts warehouse, JMMC Plant, JSV and JMEV factory. The highly automated production lines, with an automation rate of 98% at Fushan Plant, flexible manufacturing layout and stringent quality control systems won high recognition from the visitors. The group gained profound insight into JMC’s intelligent manufacturing strength, diversified product portfolio and customized R&D capabilities. At the new energy factory, delegates conducted test drives of Yichi 05 and Yichi 05S, experiencing the powerful performance, intelligent configuration and superior comfort of JMC’s new energy models.

This visit marks a crucial step in deepening strategic cooperation between the two sides. It enables Colombian partners to fully recognize JMC’s comprehensive strength and product advantages, and clarifies the implementation direction of the 2026 local operation plan.
