Recently, JMCG held a large outdoor launch event in Lima, Peru, marking the official debut of the All New Vigus Plus and Grand Avenue Pro pickups in the local market. The event brought together local distributors, media representatives, and the brand ambassador to witness the launch. The two models complement each other with distinct product positioning. The Grand Avenue Pro is powered by a 2.3T PUMA engine, delivering 174 hp and 450 N·m of torque, and is equipped with 285/70R17 all-terrain tires, enhancing traction and capability on challenging terrain. The All New Vigus Plus features a 2.5T Blue Flame diesel engine with 165 hp and 400 N·m of torque, along with a 4WD system and Hill Descent Control, offering versatility for both daily driving and diverse usage scenarios.
Leading local automotive outlet Mundo Tuerca covered the event in depth, noting that both new models demonstrate significant competitiveness in powertrain and intelligent features. The report highlighted the All New Vigus Plus's well-rounded capabilities and the Grand Avenue Pro's off-road DNA, stating that the newcomers are set to energize Peru's evolving pickup segment by offering consumers compelling new choices. Mundo Tuerca also praised the vehicles' overall build quality and product substance.

This positive reception is reflected in the sales performance. In 2025, JMC pickup sales in Peru grew 73.7% year-on-year, ranking third among Chinese brands by market share. The momentum continued into 2026, with January sales up 25.4% year-on-year and market share approaching 5%, maintaining its position among the top three Chinese brands. This steady growth trajectory underscores Peruvian customers' recognition of JMCG's product strength and provides a solid foundation for the two new models.

With the official arrival of the All New Vigus Plus and the Grand Avenue Pro, JMCG has significantly strengthened its Latin American product lineup.
